I just left my most recent massage at Lifestage with Catherine (who is the best btw) and had to leave a review because their new space is next level! The location is great and easily accessible. But the best part is the stunning and thoughtful interior! They’ve create a new space that is super modern yet comfortable with luxury self-love vibes. I’ve always loved my massages at Lifestage for their technical expertise, but the old space was lacking that real “sanctuary” R&R feeling that this new space now delivers in spades! Kudos and congrats to Mollie and her entire team…it’s been a long time coming but wow, truly worth the wait! Can’t wait to get back in for another treatment soon! (Next time I’ll grab more photos too)
I can’t recommend Life Stage Massage enough! From my very first prenatal session to the day I delivered, they took such incredible care of me throughout my entire pregnancy. The space is spotless, calming, and truly feels like a sanctuary. The therapist I saw was highly skilled, attentive, and actually understood the changes my body was going through, my neck/back pain, swollen feet, and hip discomfort melted away every single time. The massages were so effective and relaxing that I immediately signed up for their monthly membership as soon as it was offered. Even now, postpartum, I look forward to my appointment every month, it’s honestly the best self-care decision I’ve made. If you’re pregnant (or just need some serious relief), this is the place. Thank you, Life Stage, for making my p
I started going to Life Stage Massage at 5 months pregnant for a prenatal massage with Julie. I looked forward to my monthly massages with Julie to address a combination of lower back and sciatica pain. It was so nice to be able to lay on my stomach given they have the appropriate cushions to allow that as an option. At the start of each session Julie asked me how I was feeling and where we wanted to focus. She made me feel comfortable and easy to talk to throughout the treatment. I just did the Labor Induction Acupressure massage with Julie who explained everything. I left feeling great after a mix of a massage and pressure points. Now I wait! I definitely plan to go back here for postpartum massages. Life Stage & Julie was a big part of my pregnancy self-care.
Catherine Gleeson provided the single best massage I’ve ever had. She is gifted and has an intentional, healing touch. As someone who cannot handle intense pressure but benefits from massage (being a full-time working mom of a toddler), Catherine approached the session with compassion and an innate understanding of what I needed. She has some kind of cosmic, metaphysical powers!!
I wanted to love this place and honestly wish I could rate it higher. I came in for a postpartum massage at 6 weeks postpartum, leaving my baby for the first time, and had high expectations based on the reviews. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match what was advertised. First, I don’t understand why it’s called a “postpartum massage.” It felt like a standard massage with no specialized postpartum focus or techniques. I saw Lori because she was available on Sunday at 12pm, which was the only time that worked for me. She was kind, but the pressure was extremely light. It genuinely felt like I paid $200 to be lotioned repeatedly. She asked how the pressure was, and I told her it was low and she could go higher. She said she was “warming up the area,” so I expected it to increase at som
