I’ve lived in the community of Rosedale for just over a year and I thought I would finally try out one of the local hair salons. Located right near the Rosedale LIRR train station. I met my new hair stylist, Santa was amazing with helping me with my hair emergency. Very knowledgable about my hair extension issue and super friendly. Hair is back to looking right thanks to her. I will definitely be back again.

First they charge you based on your hair texture. Type 4 hair girlies beware!!! I went to them for a wash and press for the holidays and it’s safe to say that I will not be going again. I noticed that I was charged based on my hair texture, charged an additional fee for conditioner (as if shampoo don’t come with conditioner) and at the end of it she did not trim my ends. I had to trim my own ends at home. During the week that I had the style, I noticed that my hair was falling out, in disturbed and while I brushed it. Once I washed my hair the week after getting the style, I noticed that my hair smelled like a perm and my hair was falling out in clumps. I've been patronizing this business since I was a teen. The owner is passionate about you, your hair, and her business! I am always treated well and within reason....some days get busy, but my hair care is always worth it. I've seen them make magic happen on some ladies and if you ask they will come early or stay late to help you on your way... Customer service isn't dead!

The worst service they left me in the dryer for more then an hour I said it’s been then an hour she stated my hair is long after that blow dry my hair for another 30 mins I believed she used a straighter product on my hair without my permission because when I washed it after my hair smelled like permed hair and burnt smell. My hair is natural Dominican hair, then charged me 60 for the wash and set never have I paid so much. Never again and I don’t recommend this hair salon!
