Tried to get hair coloring and booked an appointment they didn't have purple and said that it would take a whole day for the bleach to set in my hair. She was very short with me and made me feel like she didn't want me there. And she didn't offer any solution just said that she couldn't help me.

i went to get my perm done and the lady didnt ask me what i had done w my hair previously. she started my perm and there was not much communication. eventually she had me sitting w the cap on for what felt like too long. eventually she told me my hair wasn’t taking and told me to leave and come back in an hour and a half. after being therr for an hour. she told us to leave with my hair still in chemicals and rods. we ubered there so we had to walk around for an hour and a half to be able to go back. we wouldnt have went back if she wouldnt have left the rods in my hair.

Chun does a great haircut and good color taking my daughter from dark brown to platinum blonde. We've been going to for years. She was very kind to my mother when she was sick.

First it's local. The owner is pleasant and very knowledgeable about hair and if you have a question as to why or what's the best or maybe a change--you can talk with her while in the chair. No need for separate consult to upsell. Not sure if prices are listed but they are better priced than 'upscale' salon. This a local place no fancy bells and whistles. So, its more relaxed and no upsell in products or snobbery. Local neighborhood place. Over the moon I found this gem. Love each cut I ever had here! So, for instance in price comparison. Wash, color,cut, style and blowout with product. $65. No unexpected $2.+ up For special conditioner, more color/tint or gloss. Awesome.

This is a great neighborhood salon. Appointments are need. Before Covid-19 walk ins were allowed. Very reasonably priced. The owner is lovely and talented hair stylist.
