I had been feeling a little unhappy with my former hairstylist—not because she wasn’t talented (she absolutely was) or because she wasn’t kind (she was lovely), but because over time, I started to feel rushed. She’d even suggest skipping a blowout, even when I had to head straight to work after. And as you probably know, it’s so hard when you like someone as a person but start to feel like you’re not getting the care you deserve. Those little things add up.
