Lewes Hair Shop

I've been going to Hyatt at the Lewes Hair Shop for the last 14 years. She always does a phenomenal job and makes recommendations that always work out great with my hair. Be sure to call ahead and make an appointment. She does her best to accommodate walk-ins but she's typically pretty busy.

I had walked by this place two days before scheduling my first haircut after one year of cutting it myself during the pandemic. I knew she had some corrective work to do, especially in back. She listened, took time to look for those difficult spots, using a mirror to show me. Good cut and good price. No website and no technology problems! I had attempted to go back to my other place but had repeated problems with password rejects (even changing the password with no success) using their required website check-in. So I was frustrated. Then I thought of Lewes Barber Shop where one can just call and make an appointment! What a great idea. :-)

Hayat has been cutting my hair for 17 years! No one can cut hair like her! She listens to how you want it cut, then follows through. At one time Hayat use to frost my hair. I have not found anyone since who can hold a candle to the superb job she did! She's friendly and keeps a very neat and clean shop.

Great place for a good, quick hair cut. I went in for a regular, plain ol' men's hair cut. She was literally finished within 8 minutes -- and it looked nicer than many 30 minute hair cuts I've had back home. Was it the most pampering, finely detailed hair cut I've ever had? No. Is it a good place for a nice, fast cut at a good price? Absolutely. A little tricky to find -- look for Mickey's Magic Mirror (across from the M&T parking lot), it's in the back half of the Mickey's building. There's a 'Lewes Hair Shop' sign hanging our front that points you down the walk way to the back entrance.

Good for a qwik chopped if you like getting cut with buzzer. I was done in literally 7 minutes from the time I sat in the chair. Great for a simple qwik cut. They also are cash only which I had no idea about as there are no sign and I am new to the area. Nice cut for the money.
