Lemon Tree Hair Salon Catskill

I have been coming here for a few years now . My stylist is Katie and I absolutely love her . All the girls who work there are very pleasant and do Beautiful transformations. I have had my hair colored , highlighted, cut , styled and never disappointed! I highly recommend the Lemon Tree.

Terrible!!! I had grown my hair out for months, but wanted to go for a shorter cut. I went yesterday for my scheduled 9 am haircut and showed the stylist the first picture below. I explained that I had a job interview in the afternoon and would like to have it styled afterwards. The hairstylist butchered my hair! She cut it so short, like the second photo. It’s so uneven in parts and I had to trim up the neck myself this morning because she left super long pieces in the back. The whole time I was there she was talking to the other hairdresser and not focusing on my hair cut. In the middle of my cut she mentions to the other stylist in conversation “I’m still half asleep “. Seriously! And when I told her she was cutting it too short she said “there’s a method to my madness “. It’s so bad

I scheduled my 15-year old daughter, the day before school starts, for full foils plus toner or gloss, 2 hours, 25 minutes starting at noon. I was called the morning of the appointment to ask if we could come in early to give the stylist, Ryleigh, "more time." We arrived 20 minutes early...and then waited until noon anyway. The stylist convinced my daughter to get partial foils and no toner (which we were made to pay for regardless) in an effort, I believe, to cut her appointment time down. The condition of her hair, following the color process and "blowout", can be seen in the attached picture.

do not and i repeat do not go here. i was getting my hair cut for prom and its chopped. the photo is what i asked for and my bangs are WAY WAY too thick and straight across. The hairdresser did not seem like she knew what she was doing. there are also random short chunks in my hair. she asked if i wanted products and i said yes, but then put no products not even heat protectant. not to mention the amount of hair ripped from my scalp from the blowout. thanks to them my prom is ruined.

I love the staff at Lemon Tree. Especially Amanda. She has been my hairdresser for years. She is an expert who always listens to what the client wants. She is friendly and professional
