My teenage brother will only go to Lexi for his haircuts! We love her! She is always so kind, personable, and easy to talk to. She is thorough and attentive and gives excellent haircuts - consistently! Great barbershop and totally worth the money for the quality and time spent. Lexi, Benny & Antonio are friendly and professional. We always feel comfortable, welcomed, and valued as customers.

It doesn’t get much better than this. Lexi is incredible. So often I’ve left a barber where they’ve styled my hair perfectly, something I could never replicate during my groggy morning routine, only to have it sit very wrong the next day with hairs flying out where they shouldn’t. But with minimal direction from me, Lexi gave me by far the best cut I’ve had in years. I have thin, receding hair, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I was just visiting from the city, but I’m seriously considering making the trip back just to get my hair cut at Monte’s again.

Lexi and Benny are the best! My partner got a haircut and got shave and I got a haircut today and we could not be more thrilled with the quality of the work, the fun conversation, the easy energy in the space and the prices are great given the experience and training these two barbers bring to the table. Thanks Lexi and Benny for being so great! We will absolutely keep driving to Catskill from Kingston to see you - 100% worth it! Highly recommend.

Always worth the trip from a few counties away. I’ve followed these barbers from Kingston years ago to this location in Catskill because they are worth it.
