Le Salon NYC

I’ve debated making this post for 3 years now, but it’s come to my attention that many women have had the same experience I did and I feel the need to share what happened. I grew up with very curly hair and parents who didn’t know how to deal with it. As a gift, my mom flew me to NYC to see a “curly hair specialist” as marketed on the website. This was supposed to be a special gift and for me to gain confidence back. I went it to Le Salon simply for a few highlights. I have attached the inspiration photo I showed her (last photo attached). I wanted my hair to remain brown with a blonde money piece. During my appointment, numerous racial slurs were made. Wow! Coming here was the best decision I made! They didn't even ask me for a review but here I am. Although I was a little concerned at the ratings here, I decided to get my first hair dye here because of their promise in organic and all natural hair dyes. The hairstylist really put his all into doing my hair, from my first consultation to the end. They really listened intently on what I wanted and focused on maintaining hair health, which was what I wanted. The results were impressive and honestly better than what I imagined it to be!

Ashraf and Haida are amazing! I came here for the first time at the beginning of the year for an organic perm, and my hair looked incredible. I was nervous because I’d gotten a perm as a teenager and it left my hair burnt and damaged. This time, I did my research, saw all the great reviews, and had a consultation with Ashraf. She assured me it would not turn out like before and she was right! I get so many compliments on my perm, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend this place! I did a keratin treatment and my hair came out incredibly smooth and soft. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and even helped me improve my hair health by recommending a shampoo that treats scalp and hair issues.( hair disease) She’s truly talented with everything she does—whether it’s haircuts, perms, or treatments, she pays close attention to every detail and makes sure nothing is missed. The service was absolutely amazing, and I’ve already sent all my friends to her salon. Definitely the best place for hair care!

Ashraf is highly knowledgeable about hair, scalp care, and overall philosophy. My hair had been thinning, and I was unsure how to address it. After noticing more hair shedding while washing and brushing, On August 20th, I sought help at Le Salon for treatments and a haircut. I’ve been following the home treatments Ashraf recommended, and after three weeks, my hair looks noticeably healthier. I’m planning another visit to style my hair for my dad’s upcoming 80th birthday celebration and will bring him along for a haircut and organic dye. Ashraf is honest, straightforward, and incredibly skilled—this is now my go-to spot for hair care and great conversations.
