Customer Reviews
I didn’t intend on leaving a poor review, but I gave feedback in the survey after my nail services a week ago and never heard back. I’ve come here a few times before and always had a consistently fair experience. A place that’s going to hit the mark but you won’t rave about. This time around, I came as a walk in, was taken back quickly and asked for a basic mani & pedi and opted for the tooti fruity option which is $42- over priced. She proceeded to give me little effort rushing through the steps and applied way too many coats of paint. Barely touched me for about 8-10 seconds with the pumice, no cleaning under the nail bed, and just enough rub of the tooti fruity scrub and lotion to say it was done. She cut my toe nails shorter than I would’ve liked without asking and after sitting for 30
I got my nails done here on 10/17/25 around 10:30am. the lady at the counter asked what kind of nails i wanted, i said gel. she asked "fake nails, like gel x?" and i said yes. the lady they paired me up with (she never gave me her name) gave me acrylics, not gel like i asked for. i tried to tell her what i went wrong and what i wanted but our communication wasnt the best i guess. but after the she also did more things wrong. she didnt push my cuticles back or cut them, she didnt apply the acrylic up to the cuticle or the polish. she asked for what shape, i told her Coffina nd she gave me aquare. i still paid 100$ for this service. i am not happy with them and i dont think i'll be coming back. I showed her the 3rd photo of what i wanted. and the first two photos are what i got.
I went to Lavish Nails at Pearl Ridge Mall on September 28, and brought my sister-in-law as a treat. What should have been a relaxing outing turned into an absolute disaster. I requested a gel polish removal and a gel French tip on my natural nails. The technician took forever filing and soaking my nails, only to ask another worker for help. That second worker started tugging at my nails and even told her to just pull the gel off. Then they brought over who seemed to be a supervisor, and instead of using proper tools, she used her own fingernails to scrape and peel off my gel polish. This ripped layers of my natural nails off, which was not only painful but completely unsanitary and frankly, disgusting. She then over-buffed my nails until they were paper-thin. When my original technician
The pedicure wasn’t anything special. It felt rushed and I was really looking forward to the massage part but that was nothing. It felt like someone was just lightly rubbing lotion into my legs. I wanted some compression and my legs to feel loosened and relaxed. They felt moisturized only. Also not a lot of attention was given to exfoliating callus and that was gone through super quick. Maybe because I was a walk-in and not a regular client, I wasn’t pampered or given the extra effort. I will say the staff was friendly and it had a nice atmosphere.
This place struggles with honesty and integrity. I originally booked a hybrid lash set, which was discussed and agreed upon as 12–13 mm. The service itself went fine. However, when it came time to pay, the service provider told the receptionist that I had booked a volume set, which was untrue. As a result, I was charged the volume price. The hybrid set was supposed to be $165, but I was charged $195. Since this was my first visit, I initially assumed the price was correct. Later, after checking the salon’s website and reviewing their pricing, I realized I had been overcharged. When I contacted the salon to address the mistake, they claimed the service provider said I received a volume set, which directly contradicted the conversation we had prior to the service. I was then given a hard t
