Lavern's Hair

I called to to make an appointment and get a price for hair. I was very upfront and wanted to know price and if hair is included. She told me hair was included and it would be $200. She then text me the very next day at 10:53 pm asking if I’m keeping appointment. I said yes. She then then hair is not included. When I mentioned our conversation by phone she simply said sorry it’s not included. Not only was it unprofessional to text me that late but to then changed her mind. She followed up with another text the next day and it was late also. Saying a deposit was needed. I had to problem putting a deposit down but I wanted to be sure she came through. She is very unprofessional and flip flops. I rather take the drive to Baltimore like I’ve been doing instead of dealing with Lavern!

She took great care of my daughters hair. She was fair in price and we'll be back again.

Just went here for the first time yesterday for a weave after moving from Baltimore and having to travel back there every few weeks for hair care. She did an awesome job!!! Weave was flat and beautiful, rates were reasonable and the shop if 10 mins from my home!!!! No more Baltimore commuting for Me! Thanks Lavern!!!!

Save your time and money. Go to Baltimore, you'll have great braids and you'll be out in 2 hours max. This lady thinks just becuase she's the only local braider, she can treat people any kind of way and up charge people. And she used to use weave glue to do eyelashes:(

Unprofessional she gives an appointment time and she is not even there or your waiting over an hour or two before she start your hair. She dropped the comb while condition my hair and didn’t even bother to rinse it off she just picked it up and continue to comb out my hair. The quality of her hairstyles is average but don’t bother with her braiding. Limited options of stylists in the area. I rather take my chances and go to Baltimore!
