Lava Salon - Park Circle

I called Friday afternoon last minute hoping for a Saturday appointment. Jess worked very hard and stayed in touch while she was trying to work something out. I got an appointment Saturday for a color and cut with Courtney, who was amazing. The salon has a laidback vibe and everyone was socializing and laughing. Thank you to Jess and Courtney - I’ll be back soon! Highly recommend.

I recently went to Lava Salon, Sky Mills is wonderful! I highly recommend this salon! The space is clean, efficient and fun to be in. Everyone is very professional and nice. Reasonably priced. Sky is knowledgeable, professional and really good at what she does! I have finally found a hairdresser that I will go to again! If you haven’t already been, you should definitely call and make an appointment!!!

My experience at Lava was horrible. My hair is damaged beyond repair. The photo where my hair is blonde is to show the difference in damage and thickness. The blonde was also done at lava and I was happy with that, but my experience went down hill from there. My next two appointments, the color wasn’t what I asked for. There was never any acknowledgement by the stylist of the damage to my hair (or shirt). I didn’t want to leave a bad review because they did try to color correct my hair to what I asked for (free of charge) at the other location, but they can’t put the hair back that’s missing from a third of my head... I did reach out to the owner via email a week ago to share my experience, but I still haven’t received a response. By posting this review, i just hope to save others from ha

Zoe always does an incredible job with my hair, I can’t say enough great things about her and this salon. If you’re looking for a down to earth environment to relax and have your hair well taken care of, this is definitely the place to go!

I have been a customer of April Park for over 2 years now. She is hands down the best hair stylist I have ever been to. April takes the time to get to know what her client likes and she really care about her customer. She is always educating me on new products and show me how to take great care of my hair. She is very talented in what she does. I have dark black hair and she is able to lift it to very blonde so seamlessly. She moved away from Columbia to Charleston and I still drive to see her for my hair appointment. I always get good results from Arpril Park. Highly recommended!
