LASHES on 5th

Spotted Lashes on 5th after searching on instagram. After viewing the images and reviews, I decided to give a chance. Was able to book same day which was after a huge snow storm. I took off the previous lashes that were holding on barely. New set was around $137 (New Client) with the removal being $20. Booked and assigned with Jenny. I was very nervous however Jenny reassured me I was in great hands. Experienced and seasoned with over 7 years or so. While lashes were being done I was in and out of sleep. Only to realize I was almost complete. Done and headed to front for payment, I got to speak with the young lady at the front desk who was beyond sweet. Booked and ready for two weeks. Spot is spotless, wheelchair ♿️ accessible with option of stairs and elevator. Huge space with no overlapp

I just had my lashes done and returned to my hotel room, where I immediately noticed an issue. The left eye already has a visible gap on the outer end underneath, and this was within 10 minutes of finishing the service. The style is described as a “mascara look,” but this separation should not be happening so quickly. Beyond the lashes themselves, the customer service was extremely poor. When I left, there was no thank you, no goodbye, and the front desk staff barely looked up. I asked to use the bathroom (which I had used before my appointment) and was told it was “not working.” There was also confusion around pricing. I almost never leave bad reviews. But I feel compelled to do so after my most recent experience at Lashes on 5th. I went for my first time getting extensions in a couple of years, and the same day after leaving most of the edge lashes on my left eye fell out. Having asked for a cat eye, this made my eyes appear entirely uneven. I emailed them to let them know, and to their credit they had me come in to have them fixed. While the fixed version appeared decent for the first day, it quickly became clear that the lashes hadn’t been properly isolated and glued. The lashes on my left eye kept poking me, flipping upside down, and rotating to strange angles. I’ve never had this happen before. I had a great experience at this lash salon. The place is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional. My lash artist was very gentle and took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. My lashes look beautiful and natural, exactly how I wanted. They feel light and comfortable. I will definitely come back and recommend this salon to my friends.

They are professional, attentive, and truly care about making you feel comfortable and relaxed. The service was done with great attention to detail, and everything was clean and well-organized. This was honestly the best manicure and pedicure service I’ve ever had. I also had the pleasure of meeting Camila, the owner, and she is such a kind, sweet, and genuine person. You can really tell she puts her heart into the business and takes pride in providing excellent service. I highly recommend everyone to visit Lashes and try their services at least once. You will leave feeling refreshed, happy, and well taken care of.
