Wow $35 for a long-lasting gel manicure is an absolute steal in Boston! It was my first time getting any sort of manicure, but it was very smooth and easy. Lots of high-quality polishes with every color you can imagine. The ladies are very efficient too. I can’t believe how well my nails have held up; see pics from right after and 2wk later (faded henna on my hands); this is with cooking, cleaning, working out, and working in the hospital. UPDATE: Tried out dip nails with Mimi, with a slight extension. Amazing results and so affordable ($45 before tip!). Posted pics of the manicure right after and 2 weeks after! Lan Nail Salon is great. The entire staff is nice and friendly. I have been going to see Mimi there for over 7 years. Should have written this review sooner. I do mani/pedi's but they have other services too. I highly recommend going here.

Mimi was excellent! I came into the shop shortly before closing and she didn’t rush to get me done, she actually did an outstanding job on my nails. I usually jump around from shop to shop but I’ve officially found my new nail place. Ask for Mimi!

10 days, still going strong! Lan is a gem in the South End. She always does a great job and is very thorough. Definitely my new regular for acrylic. I’ve done different shapes several times and it’s always just what I want. UPDATE 1.5 years later. I have gone to twice in the last year and they have lied about their pricing. I called before I went confirming a fill with gel was $50. I told her I had 1 broken nail and she said it would be $55. Fine. I go to pay and she says it’s $60 because I had one broken nail. I will not go here again.

Really careless. When removing my old gels, basically sawed off my nail beds with the nail drill. At the end, she literally clipped off the skin below the nail, causing me to bleed. I really recommend avoiding this place.
