Lakewood Nail Salon

The price is not clear at all: they list something on the wall, you select that and then they tell you it costs more. It's very confusing. I am giving them 3 stars because i got it done 2 days ago and it still stands but I didn't enjoy everything. The person who was doing my nails kept talking with her colleague and i just wanted some quiet time. Their level of clean wasn't what I would expect from a nail salon...

Pedicure was ok. But very disappointed in the mandatory $5 minimum tip. On my finger nails, horrible. Cut a lot of extra skin off that did hurt and bleed a bit. Air bubbles on every other nail. The gel started peeling three days later. Once it peeled, my nails were looking awful and cracked. My nail beds became very crusty after I got the manicure. I’ve never got a worse manicure. Then they demanded a tip. I would way rather wait for an extra 10 minutes than have a short wait for this.

Did exactly what I requested. Pretty decent job. Very efficient despite the hectic hour. Lasted pretty well.

Terrible job on my nails. Technician was super rude and kept yelling at me to sit straight. Plus they charged me 20$ to remove my soak off powder gel and a 3% credit card fee. And she expected me to leave her a tip at the end for this horrible service. Do not go here!!

It is an ok place, they did a relatively decent job. I did enjoy the massage part of the pedicure. Maybe I am being too picky but 1. When the lady cut/pinched to blood my daughter's finger, she didn't apologize. She did offer a napkin. 2. I was not happy when the lady who did my manicure, was discussing me with her coworkers (in Spanish?) and they laughed together. 3. What is the point of offering nail polish that is $2 more expensive and will last a week (vs. a "regular" type which will not)? Why can't they sell a better one only and not sell a bad one at all? (My daughter's first nail chipped about 2 hours later. The polish/color didn't last for even a day!)
