never spending another dollar here ever again the little girl @ the checkout had an attitude whether it was ringing up my stuff or grabbing a piercing for me . horrible customer service, then gave me an issue about a 50 cent bag that she didn't offer before the purchase was over after just spending $100 . been going here for years, & never again. a shame because the owner is always nice. not spending my money where a worker is rude .

Wigs are more pricey than most beauty stores. Some stores have same wig styles as well as new ones for 10 to 15 dollars less. They are nice people. No one can really tell you about women of color hair. The ones that had a little knowledge left. So you’re on your own. A lot of them guess No real knowledge at all for black hair. They carry the products but they don’t know.

1st the customer service from the young lady behind the counter sucks. She doesnt greet. She doesn't know where anything is. She doesnt say thank you for your purchase. This has happened a few times. Very ungrateful and disrespectful to customers. It's as if they are doing you a favor by talking to you. Not sure if it entitlement, racism or ignorance but nonetheless it's wrong. There are weird return policies; i.e. "buyer be ware." Also, it extremely overpriced to the point of exploitation. I checked the price of a product on Amazon where it was listed as $16 and being sold for $25 at Lakewood Beauty Supply. To my African Americans, go to Neptune, Hamilton or Trenton if you need ethnic products, hair for weaves, braiding etc.

They don’t let you look at wigs out of the package to see what you are buying . Not great customer service

Good store. 5% cash discount. Kind staff. The only turnoff is that there are rude signs on every shelf in every aisle saying if you touch anything then you need to buy it. Otherwise a great experience. v
