L.A. Perfection Nails

The lady who did my nails was an elderly woman, she was very nice. Very lovely. I truly believe the product they used was terrible, when I said something about the nails, somebody said oh you picked a sheer color. I understand I picked a jelly color. It was a brand called double rhythm. There was more polish on my skin, which was filed or clipped off. It was painful. The elderly lady offered for me to comeback after the snowstorm and have her add another layer of a darker color (thats why I give them extra stars) That was kind of her but honestly it was a painful manicure. When I was paying she said it was a hard color to work with. But they carry the product? I assumed if they carry it, they know how to use it. I feel bad writing reviews but as someone that frequents salons often the value of services is not worth it. First few times I went were great but last two I’ve had to visit a nail salon to fix my gel fill the next day. Everyone is very nice but $77 (cash price) is expensive. Charging for reshape (same shape, almond) & cut down (very small amount, as I go every 3 weeks) is not common in the area. I understand extra for French and have never shied away from paying for good services or tipping well but disappointing when the work is sloppy.

I needed a gel mani and gel pedicure. Duy was the tech assigned to me! He was so gentle with my hands and feet- and he had great conversation too. I was in and out of the nail salon in no time. I’m definitely coming back and asking for Duy! Highly recommend!

Duy was an excellent pedicurist: kind, attentive, and very patient. He always smiled, communicated clearly throughout, and did his work with great care. Truly a very pleasant experience.🩷

I’ve been going to LA perfection nails for over seven years and I am so impressed by this salon. Everyone is so nice and professional. I’ve been going to Jodi for years now specifically and she does a fantastic job every time. I now live about 30 minutes away but still go here for my 3 week visit. Can’t say enough great things about this salon! It’s also always very clean! If you’re looking for a new nail salon in the Lawrenceville area definitely check them out!!
