La Belle Spa & Nails

I visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon at my mother's suggestion. She recommended La Belle Spa & Nails above all other local nail salons. As a connoisseur of spa pedicures world-wide, I agree this is a good business to frequent. I had a great back massage while I read a book. I admitted to the nail tech that I hadn't had a pedicure in 6 months (!!). She did not judge me, she just performed her miracle work. I recall getting #8 which was everything I needed, but I don't remember the name of that particular service. I also noticed the spa had chairs for kids which I'd never seen before! How cute! Great experience and I will return again when I'm in town.

Another update: nails broke completely off within 48 hours. Still no refund. Another update: 5th nail broke off after 24 hours. Picture added. Another update: an 4th mail has broken off. Added another picture. Update to add: I asked for the owners number, to which I’ve made several phone calls to with no answer or call back. They close in 1 hour, but I’ve got nothin but time so I’ll sit here. I’ll come back tomorrow, too. I’m currently sitting here trying to get an $80 refund from the full dip set I paid for yesterday. I left this establishment, after 3 HOURS, with crooked and lumpy nails that look like a 12 year old did them. Fine, whatever, I’ll pay and move on with my life. Not even 24 hours later, 3 of my lumpy crooked nails broke. One broke almost completely off. I don’t want them

I don’t know who did the nail designs shown in their photos, because the person who did my nails made them look terrible. They look like a chunk of play-dough — thick, uneven, and nothing like what I asked for. If you like nails with a clean, smooth finish, I do NOT recommend this salon.

I feel bad writing this review. The first couple of times I went to this shop the people were friendly and attentive and I got exactly what I wanted. The last three times I have been I have been rushed through, handled roughly, and my nails have been uneven and under groomed for the price paid for them. I'm very disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. Cut on my right pointer is from the dremel, along with all of the peeling and roughness around my cuticles.

Got my nails done yesterday and a pedicure. Towards the end of the services I started to get an anxiety attack and Julie was very understanding. She worked fast as she could to get me out of there as fast as possible. She did an amazing job with my nails. I will always come back to them as long as Julie is there!
