La Bella - LABELLA

Visited today for the first time based on a recommendation and had such a lovely experience! Everyone was so sweet and I love how my nails turned out! I got UV gel on my hands and the design I asked for was done beautifully. I also got a regular pedi which they meticulously performed and it was so relaxing (usually I find pedis not so relaxing). Highly recommend!

I used to frequent here for years when they were on 170th but haven’t been to the new (not new anymore) location. Today I didn’t feel like walking to St. Nick to get a real pedicure decided to go here instead. Mistake. Pedicure. Basic. I came in with some gel still on, but while she was using the machine to remove it, she was burning my nail meaning the speed was too high and she was moving too slow. She scrubbed my feet for all of 30 seconds. 15 per foot. I have a lot of dry skin so I was hoping to have it removed, nope. I know I can do a much better job at home but wanted to feel pampered. 🥴 Mani. Basic. She was cutting my skin and not my actual cuticle. There was no cuticle oil afterwards, thankfully I have some at home. Safe to say the quality has gone down and I will not be back ever.

I’ve been going to La Bella since August after my mom (a regular for almost a year) insisted I try them. I’m only sad I didn’t go sooner! The salon is super clean, organized, and always on time with appointments, which I really appreciate. Everyone is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I see Mimi for hard gel fill-ins and my nails have never looked better. She’s super detailed, especially with my almond shape, which I can be picky about, but she always takes her time and makes sure they're perfect. Since going to Mimi, I’ve gotten more compliments on my nails than ever, even from strangers! Great service, beautiful results, and an amazing gel color selection. 10/10!

Highly disappointed. This is my nail after two weeks. I just moved to the neighborhood and I was trying to see what could be my ideal nail spot in my neighborhood and it’s definitely will not be labella.
