Food was delicious, go for the tantalizing Liquid Olives and don’t be surprised if you must have a 2nd order. Roasted onions are deliciously balanced, crispy cod fritters are traditional and well executed, mussels were so plump I should have asked where they were from, served with their delicious crusty bread and were to full for more dishes, although wanted to hang out and had the churros which were skinny and sweet ending. The wines by the glass were uninspired, wish they had more interesting wine options. Super convenient place for dinner before going to The Shed.
I really liked the food here and tried my dish and my friend's dishes. The octopus was wonderful and I could taste the olive oil on it. One friend ordered the pork check and the meat was very soft and tender. I'll say the tortilla de patatas was the most simple dish. The only downside is that the dishes are very small and you'll have to order 2 or 3 dishes per person to get satisfied. The service was friendly and the ambience is nice 👍
well I think this is an overall great restaurant! Very fast service!! I love the little area here! Croquettes are FANTASTIC it’s so colourful it’s like a rainbow of beautiful flavours combined into a harmony! The mushroom rice was super funky for my taste some may like it but it tasted like a James brown song to me!
Comfortable long bar seating in the middle of the bustling Spanish Market; great choice of tapas (though a bit in the expensive side) and wine. Everything we tried was great: sensational liquid olives (loved them so much we had to order another round); very tasty and tender octopus; fresh and flavorful scallop crudo; wonderful crunchy bread and a mildly sweet flan to top it all off.
Convenient sit down option to sample food from many of the other stalls. The food is good, though pretty expensive for the small portions. I especially enjoyed the meatballs and the octopus. The serrano ham was pretty good, but the portion was tiny. The fried squid was a bit mushy and can be skipped.
