L & Z Massage

Sunny was excellent with the issues that I have with my neck. She focused on that area as I asked. She ended the massage with stretching in my arms, shoulders and neck. She released the tension and knot in my neck that was there for days. I highly recommend her.

Beware of L&Z. they are greedy and dishonest. I walked in, gave my name, and mentioned that I had an appointment at a specific time. They confirmed and took me in. It turns out my actual appointment was at the spa next door. They didn’t say anything or even acknowledge that my name wasn’t in their appointment system! After the massage, I noticed the other spa had been calling and trying to locate me. Not only is L&Z not honest, but they also had the nerve to extend their hand and demand an amount of tip before I even had the chance to get up and change. What a money-hungry greedy people.

I had the pleasure of experiencing an incredible therapeutic massage from Mia, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Her expert techniques—incorporating stretching, hot stones, and cupping—targeted my problem areas with precision and care. After the session, I felt an amazing sense of lightness and relaxation that lingered well beyond my visit. Mia’s skill and attentiveness made this a truly standout experience, and I’m already counting the days until my next appointment!

I had a truly incredible massage session at L and Z Massage in Gainesville, VA! As soon as I stepped into the space I felt serene while knowing I was well taken care of. My therapist discovered and worked magic on my back and leg areas that I never knew needed attention. My therapist paid attention to every part of my body including my hands, feet, neck, back and scalp. My muscle condition creates severe stiffness that challenges most massage therapists to make any meaningful impact but she succeeds where others fail. She completed her work with expertise and strength while showing great care. Her sweat at the end of the session proved she deserved her tip because of her hard work. Update 7/28: there was a strange smell from entering to into the massage room. I also gave a 20% tip and Wendy still expected more. I think that’s uncomfortable and unprofessional. 20% is pretty good for any service. They do provide great massages but they’ve gotten a little greedy. I try to come 1x/month or every other month and will still recommend them but just expect a bad face or reaction if you’re not giving more than 20%. Mia is amazing! Second massage with her and is worth every penny. Prices are great for the quality. Definitely recommend!
