Nj is mine and my sons barber we also get my girls haircut there too from time to time but we love this place! It’s always welcoming, fun and friendly! All the barbers interact with us. It’s a great place to get kids cuts (my kids are 7 and older). I highly recommend this place. Lisa the previous owner still comes in (on tuesdays only) and helps out too. It’s always a great time when we get our haircuts.

I visited Kutting Edge Barber & Beauty Salon because their sign clearly says walk-ins are welcome. However, that didn’t seem to be the case when we arrived. Instead of being greeted in a friendly manner or asked what service we needed, we were met with a lack of enthusiasm from the staff. It felt like they didn’t really want to help or have us there. A salon should feel inviting, especially if they advertise that walk-ins are welcome. Unfortunately, this experience was anything but welcoming. If you’re looking for a place with great customer service, I’d suggest going elsewhere.

I stopped by Kutting Edge Barber & Beauty Salon after seeing their walk-ins welcome sign, expecting a friendly and professional atmosphere. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The staff didn't seem interested in helping and didn't even ask what service I needed. It seemed as though the barbers were interested in their small talk with each other or friends instead of assisting me. The energy in the shop felt unwelcoming, as if I was inconveniencing them just by walking in. If a business advertises that they welcome walk-ins, they should actually follow through with it. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for good customer service.

I go to NJ for all my hair problems! Great customer service and I always come out of the salon feeling beautiful with my new hair. Whether it’s a cut or braids, NJ will get you looking right.
