Been cutting my hair with Vic and these guys are like family to me. They are all experienced barbers with a great sense of humor. I live all the way in the Bronx and my brother lives in CT and we both still come here to get a cut. God bless these cats. They are good dudes. I would ignore the low ratings below. These are good cats. Not everyone has the same experience but net net quality guys for what they charge.
I love Vic. He always cuts my 2 sons hair. He's fun and friendly. The price went up recently but it's still worth it. That being said, I can't say much for anyone else there. I've gotten the kids hair cut by other people there and they've either made them cry or over charged me or both. The other barbers rotate out quite a bit so I can't say who'll be there when but I won't go unless Vic is there!
Unprofessional, I had an appointment at 1 p.m. I came in and the doors were locked from the outside. I knocked and they told me they had a client for which only 2 people were working. So why give me an appointment if I can’t be seen? Make it, Make sense. So I waited outside for half an hour. The barbers kept staring at me but did nothing not even offer a seat. I won’t be coming here again. I figured so many good reviews that it’ll be cool but these men are so unprofessional and I called to make an appointment beforehand.
I use to get my hair done with Vic...very respectful guy, however on Friday I took my grandson to get his cut and Vic wasn't able to do it because he had customers waiting. So he suggested that i ask one of the other barbers...i ended up with a guy name Gil...i left my grandson there and ran to Target to buy something, wow what a mistake, the cut was ok...nothing to brag about....but i found my 8 year old grandson crying uncontrollable, apparently my grandson paid him $15.00, but since he didn't give this Gil guy any tip, he started harassing him and telling him that the police was coming for him. It so happened that a police officer stopped by and he continued the harassment and joke about it. This was VERY unprofessional and inconsiderate of this guy, to bully a 8 yr old this way. Not
Took my 2 1/2 year old son in here to get his hair cut, last time we saw Cue and he did a great job. Tonight, I came in and the guy working just finished with another teen kid. My son and I were the only people waiting and the guy told me that we had to wait for his friend to show up and that he was cutting him before my son. Fine. 20 minutes go by and his friend walks in, mind you I'm trying to keep a toddler occupied. The guy proceeds to cut his friends hair and after 10 minutes, tells me I should come back tomorrow when Gil is around. I told him I needed my son's cut done tonight because he has school pictures tomorrow, no go, the guy tells me he doesn't cut kids hair too well and that he can't do it. So after having me and my baby wait for 30 minutes between 6:10 pm and 6:40 pm, the gu
