UPDATE 2: 24 hours later and the redone chrome has already chipped. At this point, I’m done. I don’t know if it’s the application method, the products used, or what… but I’ve never had problems like this before. I’m not coming back. My time is valuable and this just isn’t worth my time. UPDATE: After posting my review, I was reached out to and told that they would redo my nails at my convenience. I was unable to come in before today and they completely accommodated my schedule. They agreed the nails I had left with last week weren’t their standard. Today, Tom (not the person who did the nails originally) redid my chrome nails and took the utmost care, checking in with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy. Horrible experience, literally go anywhere else. This was my 1st time coming here and for a seemingly nice and expensive nail bar, it was trash. First off, my 12:00pm appointment didn’t start until 12:30. They sat me at a station when I got there, then I just sat there at a station with nobody saying anything to me for 30mins. I initially asked to get the colored powder on my nails but done with w brush like acrylic instead of dipped. They do this for me at literally every other nail salon. They said no, they will only do clear acrylic. That was strike one. So I said fine okay and I picked out the gel color I wanted instead which was a very light pink with shimmer. I’ve been coming to the shop for a few months now and I’ve always gotten pretty decent work. Their pedicure is awesome. This is the first time I got dip with a different person and this job is horrendous. The file job is sloppy. It looks like I have a toe thumbnail and when I asked the lady about it being messy, she claimed that with dip it will just come off with water. This is a ridiculous job for $60. I will give the shop one more try with a different person than Lynne. I’m embarrassed to go to work with my nails looking like this. 8 days later and look at that growth.

I’m in love with my new Halloween nails!! Marcus did an amazing job with this design! (3rd photo is the reference I showed him) I’ve been going to Kosmo’s for quite some time now and have been in love with my nails every time I go. Everyone does an amazing job with the dipping powder! Not worth the money. I started off with a rose garden pedicure that my husband booked for Valentine’s Day for me. The champagne and 1 piece of tiny piece of chocolate was a joke. The pedicure was terrible, the tech clipped me and shrugged it off. I asked for white and she gave me an off white that looks almost like a pale pink. Also I didn’t get the full pedicure package that was paid for, and I didn’t get the foot mask either. I was told that my time limit was going over and I explained how is that my fault? The manicure was rushed and done badly. The acrylic nails were uneven, chunky, and the color and design was not what I asked for. For the price my husband paid it should have been done better. Avoid this place, and find a different salon.
