Visited Kizuna Hair Salon and got my haircut today with Natsume. Such a great experience and a perfect cut! Thank you so much, Natsume! Looking forward to returning to Kizuna Hair Salon in the future!
This is my first time getting a haircut costing more than 50$ and it turned out amazing. I had long hair and wanted to cut it short. Shima had more availabilities than the other stylists so I booked a haircut with her. I explained to her my hair texture, that I have wavy Asian hair. I told Shima that I plan to wear my natural waves and I wanted to avoid thinning my hair as it makes it puff up. Shima took my concerns into consideration when cutting. After the cut, we did not style my hair with my natural wave so I was a bit skeptical, though I still loved the length. After my first wash, I added some mousse and fell in love with the result. The cut had texture at the bottom and subtle layering that does not make my hair puff up. Shima you are a hair genius!
Nina is an absolute dream!! She turned my super straight, East Asian hair into something with texture, body, and volume. I’ve been getting compliments non-stop! I even had a coworker comment that she feels like I’m a pop star with my new hair haha. Highly highly recommend Kizuna for a cut, and Nina for something fun but fitting!
Update: just had my third cut with Tenzin and it’s probably the best cut I’ve ever had. He’s outdone himself. I felt like a million bucks after my cut and blow dry session with Tenzin. He again was so detailed with my cut. I am completely happy and satisfied. His effort and master craft has not diminished even on my 3rd cut. Past post: Just had my first cut with Tenzin and the reviews on him ain’t lies. I came in with choppy and sloppy hair because my past hairdresser from my local home neighborhood stopped caring and giving the attention and detail, and my hair had grown out the most horribly it’s ever been. So I knew it was time to ditch my old, and find a new hairdresser. That’s when I found Tenzin at Kizuna. He really took the time to actually have a thorough consultation on my hair,
I had a fantastic haircut with Natsume today. He gave me great advice on my hair type and also a few simple techniques on how to style it. Often at salons I struggle to know what to ask for, so it was very helpful. I will be back soon!
