Kirby the Barber in Austin is seriously the real deal. From the moment you sit in his chair, you can tell he’s a total pro, he knows exactly what he’s doing and takes his time to get every detail right. My cut came out clean, sharp, and exactly how I wanted it. On top of that, he’s super friendly and easy to talk to, which just makes the whole experience even better. It never feels rushed, just solid work and good vibes.

Kirby is the real deal and a dying breed. Fresh haircuts done with speed and precision. Snag some of his homemade hair butter while you’re there. Online booking is a breeze. Kirby is the best in the city, bar none.

As a new Austin resident, one of my tasks was finding a new barber. Took a chance on the younger Kirby and I was blown away by the expertise, services rendered, and friendliness of both him and his father. Absolutely recommending to my friends.

I booked a haircut with Kirby Jr and it was excellent... he's got great focus and attention to detail, I walked out looking a million bucks. Might go for a shave / beard trim as well next time. It's a nice set up, ground floor front of their house, doors propped open on all sides, so very well ventilated, and everyone fully masked throughout. I'll definitely be back in a few weeks.

I visited Kirby for a long overdue beard trim, and was not disappointed. With pretty much no guidance other than "I'd like it to look good," Kirby Sr. got to work and really delivered. On top of the outstanding skill, this shop has a great unpretentious vibe, with a very welcoming father-son team. I'm really happy I went there, and will definitely be booking a return visit next time I'm in Austin.
