The shop has a great vibe. Scott tamed my beard. I went in looking like a castaway and left looking like a gentleman.

I recently visited King Club Barbershop and had an outstanding experience with Scott. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The shop itself is stylishly decorated, clean, and has a comfortable vibe that immediately puts you at ease. Scott’s expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout my shave. He took the time to ensure everything was perfect, using high-quality products and techniques that made the experience both soothing and precise. His friendly demeanor and professional approach made the entire process enjoyable, and I left feeling refreshed and well-groomed. Great atmosphere but don’t go if you’re going for a medium-long haircut. Went in and asked for the same style but about an inch trim but had my barber take off easily 2-2.5 inches. Set my hair growth back many many months. And I couldn’t even see what he was doing since I was faced away from the mirror. If you want to keep a longer hairstyle either bring a ruler for them or avoid completely.

These guys always make you feel at home. Bonus fact: they have some whiskeys in the back available... at least they offered me some... makes haircuts a much better experience - makes most of life a much better experience lol. I have been very happy with each haircut I have received here. Make sure to call ahead for an appointment as they get booked up. I was lucky my first time they had an opening but have been diligent to book since then. Convo and atmosphere have been great each time I’ve gone.

Superb service, friendly cats and skills to boot. All good things going on in The Kings Club barbershop. Tanner hooked me up with the best cut of my life - proper barber's attention to detail and demonstration of ability. Aura in the shop is great - retro enough to yield a taste of nostalgia without being too off-putting for those that might prefer a modern feel. Truly feel like a valued customer of theirs upon entry and during the visit. Great hosts, service, happy with the outcome and willing to make the drive from Long Beach for another one... in fact, scheduling it now.
