I made an appointment a week ago, and when I showed up, they didn't have me written down. I was told to wait. All 3 barbers were busy. Then when one finished, he went in another room and never came out. Another customer whom they knew came in, and he had an appointment. They totally ignored me, and helped him. This was 30 mins in. I also saw one of them texting while cutting the hair of a kid. It felt like some kind of sophomoric hazing. Totally unprofessional. I walked out at that point. I will never give them my business.

Book with JT. He does a great job and takes his time. Negative 8 stars for the other guy Jay R I booked in advance because I lost JT’s number in my old phone. “Jay R” finally showed up an hour later after several phone calls saying that he was 15 minutes out. Now I’m no prima Donna and I usually just stay cool about stuff. But $50 for a 10 minute haircut made me feel disrespected. I booked a fade and beard cut but he decided to just do a taper because I guess that’s what he felt like doing. Don’t book with JayR unless you wanna wait for him to show up and take phone calls during your haircut. He’s not in it for the service, he cares more about the clout and look of being a barber. Extremely friendly, I thought JT did great job on my cut and enjoyed the conversation. I brought my 3 year old in with me, trying to get him used to idea of getting haircuts. Rue engaged with my son before and during my cut which I really appreciated, he even helped keep an eye on him as he kept dropping his suckers on the floor. My son obviously does not understand suckers and barbershop floors yet.

This is our 2nd time coming and if everything continues to go as it has, we will definitely be forever customers! Jay has been professional, friendly, and patient. He continues to exceed & always offers the best advice when it comes to cutting my son’s hair. I am so glad we found him and this shop. As a woman, I’ve never felt more comfortable coming into a barbershop. Everyone here has been friendly and you can tell they take their job serious. My son and I are thankful to be in an atmosphere that welcomes the Black community. Please keep doing what you’re doing!
