I've been getting my hair done here for 20 years. They're so kind and family oriented. You feel a sense of peace the moment you enter the shop. They're very skilled with all different types of hair textures and styles. I love them and I will continue to ONLY have my braid styles done by them.
Loved my braids. I had an amazing experience at this braiding shop! The staff was professional, welcoming, and truly talented. They took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, and the results were even better than I imagined. The braids are neat, not too tight, and look fantastic. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable, and they worked efficiently without compromising quality. I’ve received so many compliments on my hair already. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for beautiful, well-done braids! Will definitely be coming back.
If I could give this shop ZERO stars I would!!! Shop was DIRTY! I instructed the women working to add very little hair in my braids , she proceeded to do it her way … left unhappy and not to mention late for work ! Braids are extremely heavy hard to put up and even harder to sleep on! I called and asked for the braids to be removed and redone (willing to pay twice ) And her response was very unprofessional! I will not be returning EVER, save your money or walk up the block to Tata’s hair braiding very reasonable pricing and professional staff!
So, I left this shop extremely disappointed. For the price I paid, and the fact that I was in there for about 8 hours. I expected my hair to turn out great. I asked for smedium knotless braids and left with large parts and no middle part.. When I get in my car, I noticed that she gave me some sort of a side part (the side part isn’t even on the side, it’s towards the middle. I tried to switch to a middle There’s absolutely no way for me to wear my hair. The parts were large and it looked as if there was no edge control. My hair looked really old after a week, and there’s hair sticking out of the braids. They also aren’t waist length.
Like the braiders, welcoming and respectful. My braids were extremely too tight but I did go back the next day to have several of them re-braided loosely. I tried to power through but you shouldn’t have to endure that much pain from any hair style. I definitely recommend telling your stylist before hand you need them to be more gentle. If you decide to try anyway like I did, stop the first sign of too much tension or pain as this can be damaging. Hope any braider be mindful of this or refuse the client if you know the style may be difficult. After I went back to get braids re-done I felt better still alil pulling but not like they originally were.
