Kimberly salon nails

They do not even deserve one star. Carolina did my nails. I went in for an acrylic overlay and my nails were already almond shaped from the last salon I went to. The acrylic overlay was so thick. I asked her to shave it down and she said she couldn’t. She shaped my nails like a triangle and said that was almond shape. I had to file and fix them myself. Terrible shape. Terrible attitude. I then asked for French and she was doing such a sloppy job and I was asking her to clean it up and she was getting unprofessional rolling her eyes. She then said she was done doing by nails. I literally walked out with just acrylic overlay, no French, no top coat, nothing. No wonder the salon is so empty. They had no clients the entire time I was there. Went there a couple of weeks ago, had to wait 10 minutes, although it was empty.. At last it was my turn, why the woman who was supposed to do my nails took the Hispanic woman, who came in after me and started doing her eyebrows. Didn't say do you mind, it won't take long or nothing. I got up and went to the boss and told her what I thought, someone had to translate what I said. She told me she would get another lady to do my nails. Of course I said no. Truth be told, that was a bias move. Thank God, I'm a Christian woman. That place will never see a dime of my money again. Terrible!!!!!

I honestly did not enjoy my first time to this place. I asked for a gel manicure with an ombre style. The nail tech I was with had no experience of doing that kind of design. In fact, she did not do such a good job at all. When I asked if she could do a V-line, kind of like a French tip, she has only done it with one nail. She also left nail polish under my finger nails, all worth for so much and such a waste. I would ask if I can get a discount, but I'm afraid I won't be heard again. I'm not going back to that place ever again.

My nail lady is Vildamia, she is the best💞👍🤗I go there and have an image of how I want it she does it or if I'm not sure she always has a creation opinion if I like...I've also followed them before time at other places they been ,and nails last longtime even though they are all good "she my fav."

Make an appointment with the nail tech. Be on time and you'd be satisfied with your nails! Everyone is great. I'm happy I found this place. Is a gem in the upper west side.
