Kim Phung Hair Salon

I went in there specifically asking for a wavy perm. I showed them a picture of hair that was very lightly permed, and specified that I did not want any visible curls. Ended up with a full head of curls that was nothing like the picture. Now looking back, it was definitely intentional. Kim (I believe) told the women that was working on my hair to use tight curlers, the women asked “are you sure” and asked Kim if she saw the picture, Kim said she did and to just do it anyway, but that she wanted to cut it. She was very insistent on wanting to cut it since I believe she wanted to experiment on cutting this style of hair. This completely ruined the hair that I was growing out for 6 months. Best haircut I've had in years and at a very low price!!! It's hard to find a salon on the south side with experience cutting Asian hair. I've paid twice as much for worse cuts. I won't be going anywhere else from now on. Attached before and after images

I am very pleased with Kim Phung and never going anywhere else. Everyone is very nice and friendly and the atmosphere is great. The highly-skilled stylists there have been cutting hair for years and have a good eye for the hair. They also do offer other beauty services such as spot/mole removing, facial care..etc.

I went to get the services done. When I was checked out… I was told a completely different price from what I was originally told!! A huge difference too. I was told it was because my hair was long… I understand my hair is long but it’s professional to explain that beforehand and give me the ACTUAL CONFIRMED PRICE when I asked!!!

I always thought it was just for haircuts. They offer all kinds of skin care services and lashes. I had individual eyelashes. It went well. I will try some of there skin care services. It seems to be only place in area that offer skin care services. Their English is not very good. I suggest come in person to inquire about services. They don't have a website.
