I would actually assign a zero-star rating to this establishment if possible. To be subjected to racial profiling in a store situated in the heart of the African American community is utterly appalling and distasteful, and I intend to file a formal complaint with the Attorney General's office regarding the racial profiling incident that occurred while I was accompanied by my children. Buying hair bows for my daughter.

I visited this store to shop, not to be silently policed. The most disappointing part? It wasn’t even the owner giving side-eyes — it was the new Black male employee. Watching me like I was one bad step from setting off alarms, instead of offering help or learning where products are. I asked the owner if he was security, because that’s how he was acting. She said he was new. I politely suggested he spend time learning the store instead of treating paying customers like suspects. In a business that profits so heavily from the Black community — especially Black women — the least you can do is offer us respect. I’ll be shopping elsewhere from now on. You can’t profit from the culture and patrol it too. Do better.

I thought my true experience in the store was great. There were two people consistent asking people if they needed help. I was also impressed at how friendly, courteous, and caring the staff was to each customer. I'm going to shop at this store more often. The prices are decent and your can really load up on items that you use all the time.

Went in here to purchase some beads for my daughter and those workers were watching me like a hawk and following me. They made me feel super uncomfortable. Looking for a black owned beauty supply. I’m done giving these Asians my business.

It's a small shop but they have a ton of things. I couldn't find what I was looking for right away but there was a gentleman there who helped me. I showed him what I was looking for and he just guided me to the cashier for check out while he grabbed the products I was looking for. I was in and out. Very efficient for my first time coming to this beauty supply store
