Khady African Braiding

Worst experience I have ever had. So unprofessional. I went at 3 with an appointment and I note that I needed my hair washed. They didn’t start my hair till almost 5 and the braided tried to do my hair without washing it. The braider took multiple breaks to chat with her friends and laugh. She had her son with her and he was climbing all over me while she did nothing to stop it. I spent 8 hrs in this salon for a style that should only take 3. There we multiple people that started their hair after me that left before me with the same style. Not to mention the braider handed me hair to separate as if I work there. I will never be back.

I’m in love with my hair style . Let me first say thank you the owner was very sweet, and friendly so were the other stylist. This hair style is boho knotless braid that is touching my butt I paid $300, I brought my own hair plus washed it myself . The regular price was $200 the additional $100 was due to me buying human hair 2 packs which are $50 each. Overall the price is very much fair due to the fact I brought my own ( even though khady provides hair ) . I highly recommend this spot they can do any style you show them and for a reasonable price . I will be coming back soon before my birthday . Thanks again Khady African Braiding

I'm not saying the other braiders can't braid but the one who did my braids, I had to check each row with my phone video to make sure it was straight because the first row she did was parted like a roller coaster and she was going to leave it like that if i didn't say anything. I definitely did not think to check to see if she "tucked" my natural hair so it wouldn't frizz in days, low and behold frizz. She did not do this shop justice that day. Will never be back

I was on my way to another hair salon and she ran outside to offer to braid my hair so I gave it try! Khady said I would get it done fast and right away it didn't happen. One of the girls that helped with braiding my hair cut my braids very uneven! She was also rude. I specifically asked for my braids not to be long. When khady came to see how the girl cut my hair she wasn't happy and tried to fix it. I asked Khady is everything ok with my hair she yes. She wasn't honest because when I went home my braids was so uneven and the cut was too blunt. I don't appreciate the dishonesty because I couldn't see my hair from the back ! I live all the way from Brooklyn please be honest with your customers. She has good reviews but I was very unlucky. NEVER AGAIN!
