Kenza Hair Braiding

This was my second time going. I don’t know why I went back. They are unsanitary and I saw them use the same comb they used on me to do another persons hair right in front of me without sanitizing it and it made me wonder how many people that comb had been used on before me. There are roaches in the salon. They were very rough with my hair and I could feel it being ripped out. The store is very loud and overstimulating, and I don’t mean normal salon loudness I mean EXTREMELY loud. The stylists are rude and they didn’t know that I could understand what they were saying but all I can say is they will be talking about you. This was my 3rd time at Kenza’s and i probably won’t be back. I arrived at 10am and i got seated fast and they started right away i thought id be finished in no time…. Nope i didnt leave til 4pm. They stopped to eat like literally everyone in the whole shop. Which would’ve been okay if they hadn’t taken about 6 different times already. I love my hair but idk I’ve never been in a shop ALL DAY.

Firstly- I want to say, this is not my first time doing a boho style. Some of my hair is way longer than others. I even had to point some out to the braider so they could extend it, they looked more bid back than waste length. The braids in the back are also significantly bigger than the ones in the front. Secondly- I bought my own hair and upon arrival is when I was told that if I wanted it fuller it would be more, I spoke with them via Instagram and I told them what I wanted as a business outline the cost so there is no confusion. I was asked atleast four more times what I wanted after I had already told them upon arrival and via Instagram. I understand wanting to make sure but c'mon, but then she asked "why dont I do knotless?" Because I know what works for my hair. Third- The boho h

When I tell you this place got me looking rich and well kept.... Omg I had just recently took my locs out and I needed a protective style for my hair, First time even getting my regular hair done, as soon as I walked in very polite asked what I wanted to get and she took me quickly, the lady that did the front of my hair, her hands where very gentle, no hair pulling none of that, I can tell the lady the one that did the front of my hair she enjoys her work and is dedicated to her creative work. I can say they are very friendly, idky I am seeing reviews where they are rude and disrespectful, I never been here first time and they welcomed me in... I will be going back. <3

My first time going this place and I love them. A 6 hour braiding process was cut down to 3 hours. Instead of me paying $270 for boho waist length medium size, I only paid $180….. These ladies work fast, my parts are neat and I got exactly what I wanted. My braids are not heavy and it’s not stiff and tight. My advice get there early like 9am because it gets packed quick. But I love them!!!!! I will be going back again.
