So excited I finally found a salon. I happened to be walking past and it was busy, always a good sign. I went in and inquired, right away the stylist seemed to be confident she could envision what I was describing, because I had no clue what technique my previous stylist did on my hair. Ciera was warm, friendly, and helpful. I booked my appointment and just finished. I’m very satisfied with the outcome and the price too!!

Hidden gem on the UWS! Ciera does the best cuts & color at amazing prices. Mani/pedis, waxing, and Maria’s chair massage = perfection. Highly recommend!

Great local spot to get your hair cut! Not fuss, no worries. The cutters here are professional and know what they are doing. Have a specific cut in mind? Bring a picture or screenshot and the barber will be willing to work with you in getting the right style.

I just had my second keratin treatment/Brazilian blowout with Isabell and I really enjoyed it—everyone is welcoming and friendly at this salon. My results were fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place. It’s got a neighborhood vibe and the staff is very talented.

On Friday, 1/26/24, I had a doctor's appointment not far from the location of several hair salons. I decided to try to get a hair cut in a nearby salon after my appointment was over. After being turned away by a completely empty Salon West, I walked a few blocks further to Kenny Styling on Amsterdam Avenue. They were very busy, but were more than willing to fit me in. I highly recommend this location. Many of the hair stylists there, including Marie who cut my hair, are still willing to wear masks and cut your hair while you have a mask on. I also can highly recommend hair stylist Marie, who is only there on Thursdays. She is a great hair stylist and a very pleasant and friendly person. In fact, even though the salon was very busy, everyone there was very friendly. I'm planning on going
