KD's DOMINICAN SALON

I recently visited KD Dominican Salon, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I went in for a wash, deep treatment, and blowout, and left with my hair looking and feeling amazing. The Bri was welcoming and professional, and she really know how to handle natural hair. The salon was clean, the atmosphere was lively but not chaotic, and the wait time was reasonable. Prices were fair for the quality of service. If you're looking for a salon that understands Dominican hair care techniques and delivers sleek, lasting results—this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I visited KD Dominican Salon after seeing a flyer online and booked an appointment with Keisha. She was professional and able to get me in quickly for my daughter. While there, I asked if they could also fit me in, and they happily accommodated both of us. Bri did our hair, and Shamel (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) gave my daughter a haircut. Both were friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable the whole time. My daughter has super curly hair that’s down to her waist, and they handled it beautifully. We both left loving our results! I found the prices to be very fair for this area. I also found that the services were done quickly but not rushed. Great all around. Hi Christine Carey, I apologize that you felt uncomfortable at your visit.We would never stop a parent from being in the same room as the child. However, we must be mindful that when other children are there with the client we can't have them sitting in other stylist chairs and running through the salon. We want to make sure all our clients are safe.This is when we politely asked you to sit in the waiting room. We do aim to please and would never let any of our clients leave the salon messy. Again sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused you.

Rude, unprofessional, overpriced and did a terrible job on my daughter’s hair for prom- her middle part was uneven, the back of her hair was messy, and her curls did not even last long enough to walk to our car in the parking lot. I could have dealt with all of these things, but the fact that I was not allowed to be in the room while they were doing her hair was really upsetting. Getting your child ready for prom is an experience you look forward to their whole life. I would have understood if the salon was full and I was in the way; but she was literally the only customer…. Its pretty obvious why. Stay away from this place!! In reference to children running around the salon.
