Absolutely amazing salon! Real professionals. Kaminotech is truly one of NYC’s hidden gems. I first trusted them with my bangs two years ago — my first time ever — and recently came back to refresh my hair after not doing much to it for a while. I was left blown away. They gave me the exact cut I had been hoping for, with a level of precision and care that only real professionals bring to their craft. What makes this salon special is how deeply they pay attention to the details many places overlook — face shape, skin tone, personal style, hair fullness, and balance. It was actually here that I learned I naturally have more hair on one side of my head than the other, and they adjusted my cut so seamlessly that everything feels harmonious and intentional. horrible haircut -- cannot follow instruction and he looks mad/pissed during the entire session. This is the guy (Tomo). I said repeatedly already the exact cut I want and he wouldnt listen/understand. not going back again for sure. expensive and horrible place. Needed to go elsewhere afterwards to fix my hair (AFTER PAYING ~$100)

I have been going to Mari for haircuts, dyes, and retouches for a while now and she has always done an amazing job! She is very thorough and makes sure everything is the way you like it. My hair has also been the healthiest it’s ever been since going to her! I couldn’t be happier.

I came here with a friend. The area is small but nicely decorated, warm, and very clean. The hairstylist was very friendly, and my friend is really happy with her new haircut!
