Julio's

The first time I went to Julio's was because it was later in the evening and there wasn't many options. Julio got me right in and did an amazing job. I gave him very little direction and he just made my haircut look amazing. It was quite awhile before I went back for another haircut and even with my veey overgrown hair and the time span Julio remembered me and gave me another wonderful haircut. He is great.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND... my cousin was looking for a place to do her highlights. It wad later in the day and everything wad closed. But she wad leaving thr next day. Thank goodness for the extended hours here. She was able to get it and was very happy about the results. The next day, we went to get our hair cut. There got us in at 9 pm. It was great. Both thr staff members that were there were friendly and professional. We had a great time and are very happy we went. The prices for everything were very reasonable. Go and have your own one of a kind experience and a one of a kind shop.

I hate doing this review because he's a great person. But over the course of about 6 months, he ruined my hair so badly that I am having to grow it out. I was doing blonde and went every 8w for a touch up and trim to retain the shape and color. He kept going lighter and lighter with the blonde. He kept cutting my hair shorter and shorter. The bleach touch ups always reached further down the shaft than they needed to and always were lighter than the last touch-up. Last time, he made my hair straight up white blonde on top. Now my 3b ringlets are just awful crooked strings. I can't wear my hair down any more. And he kept taking more and more length until my side bangs became poodle curls. Great experience, walked in at 7pm and asked if he had time for a wash and blow dry, he said he had availability at 9:30pm. Came back at 9:30 and had a very thorough wash and blow dry. Would definitely recommend

This place and that man is an absolute disgrace, please keep away from that barber at all costs. The man is pathetic and extremely rude, and he is letting some guys work with him that do not know any thing about the job and ruin peoples hair. I have not seen anything like that in my whole life. There are alot of perfect barbers in Anchorage just keep away from that guy.
