I usually book a head shave and beard trim as soon as I get into town. My appointment was originally set for 12 PM, but JR notified me the day before that he had moved it up to 11:30. By the time he finished, he didn’t use a warm towel on my beard or head, and he skipped the massages he normally includes, which are part of the experience I look forward to. The whole service felt rushed compared to what he usually provides. Even so, I still gave him a $20 tip out of respect.

JR is hands down the best barber in the area. Been having him cut my hair and my sons’ hair for a couple of years now and we haven’t been disappointed. I’ve had him do hard parts with a classic 40’s era cut, modern Caesar cut, and straight up “messy/chopped” cut. His latest work on me is awesome and speaks for itself, see pics below. My new favorite barber! I just moved from Louisiana and it was so hard finding a barber that my last could do. JR passed my expectations. Don’t be to discouraged from the price. It’s well worth it and the things JR does I never really had from a $100 hair cut and beard trim. Keep at it man! I’ll definitely be seeing you again soon.

Clean shop and and on time. He gave me a tight fade and a great style cut. I will go back.
