I bought a $80 synthetic wig that came pre plucked, Pre-Cut , pre everything and the lace ripped from the cap in ONE day. I reached out to the business to try and do an exchange to get another one.. the gentleman told me that wasn’t his problem that it ripped and that i was basically out of $80. Absolutely ridiculous, i wasn’t asking for a refund just an exchange or store credit something…. This feels like bad business and like the company marked up the price for a crappy made wig. I disputed this with my bank, and will not be returning to this business in the future.

This location is very convenient for me. I’m always shopping at this joyland location. They always have what I need and the prices are reasonable. However, I do agree that some of the products are overpriced compared to other beauty supply stores in the area.

A very uncomfortable shopping experience, I could feel the ladies gaze in every inch of the store. Also funny enough the products are cheaper at target than they are at this store. I would recommend going to Hair Global that is only 5 minutes down the road

I hate going to this store, but it's close to my house every time I shop at this location they are always staring me down and making me feel so uncomfortable, like im going to steal something. Each aisle I go to there watching my every move . I'm glad im not the only one who feels this way, according to the other comments that have been posted. 😒

I only gave a star because I had to. This is the closest hair store to me. I only stop in occassionally. I came in for lip liners & I was being watched like I was going to steal. If you don't like being in the hood & serving those customers, then move. Every black person doesn't steal. The selection is nice, but I don't like being stereotyped. I am going back for some lip liners tomorrow & that will probably be my last time coming in. I need to return something, but I didn't get a receipt. The cashier didn't even try to offer me one. I have a feeling that is going to be an issue, so I will repurchase the correct items. After that, I will only shop here if I am in a pinch. I hope I never have to return here again.
