I was trying my best to be nice to the kid, but he really performed poorly. He cut my hair to a 1inch when I asked for 2.5, didn’t fade enough around. Like he was in a rush to get me out. He’s be getting worse with my cuts but now this would be my last time 👎🏿

They always do everything properly here no matter who does your hair. They cut it as requested, and they shape the hairline, around the ears etc down to finishing with a razor. Good beard trim/shave as well. Have been using this location for many years.

Great barbershop very professional great haircut every time

I've been cutting my hair in Astoria, Queens for over 20 years. However, since I'm partially retired and only go into the city once a week, it was time to find another hair cutting joint. Boy, did I really luck out! I went to Jowell's Barbershop and had my hair cut by Margarita. She cut it just the way I like it. In fact, it was better than the one I would normally get in Astoria. I highly recommend this place and I look forward to returning once my hair gets longer again!

Colocho here at Jowell’s barber shop is the real deal! Been cutting with him for years now and he’s very versatile and great with keeping up with trends when the clients ask!
