For my first time visiting the place, I really liked it. The staff was very professional and friendly, and the place was clean and spacious. It was Christmas Eve, and I called beforehand even though I didn't have an appointment. Thankfully, they were able to fit me in and help me out of a difficult situation. I recommend it to everyone... I was looking for a great salon since my hairdresser moved to another state. I saw that Luisa's Magic Scissors had a 5 star review and that walk-ins are welcome, so I figured I'd check it out. And boy was definitely impressed. Luisa is super sweet and omg ...that head massage was awesome! If you are looking for a hair salon in Riverhead, NY, I highly recommend Luisa's Magic Scissors ✂️. I love my hair again.

VERY NICE SCENERY/SERVICE!!! FAMILY OWNED BUISNESS!!!! VERY CLEAN & SPACIOUS PLACE!!! Great first experience. They had a welcoming spirit, everyone greeted you with smiles. Not only do they have a hair salon but they also do barbering,cosmetics,and facial services. I enjoyed my service. I got the wash &set with deep conditioning. I recieved a nice head massage that came with a unique hair steamer after. MY hair loved their homemade deep conditioning, it bought out my curls. I did not recieve any tugging/ pulling of the hair and no excess heat to my hair. OVERALL, LOVELY FAMILY 🫶🏾

Luisa made me feel right at home. I've never been more comfortable... she was very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. A true professional at her craft. She really cares for your hair. She did an outstanding job on my hair. From the wonderful head massage to the way she explained everything she was doing to my hair to get the best possible results. I felt so pampered and beautiful. Such a pleasant experience. Definitely recommend everyone to come to this location if you want to look and feel good.

I had the best experience at this salon! I had previously box-dyed my hair and called so many salons, but they all said they couldn't work with it until I found her. She was the only one who said yes, and I'm SO glad she did! She was incredibly sweet, kind, and made me feel so comfortable the entire time. I got highlights and they turned out absolutely gorgeous-better than I ever expected! She also uses her own line of hair products, which made my hair feel so soft, healthy, and shiny. You can really tell she knows what she's doing and cares about her clients. And the price? 100% worth it for the quality, care, and results I got. If you're looking for a stylist who's talented, kind, and truly passionate about hair this is the place to go!🩷✨
