Joe's Hair Shack

Joe has been my barber for over 25 years. I tried several barbers in Nampa and the surrounding area until I found Joe's Hair Shack. No other is as fast, friendly, efficient, professional and personable as Joe. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a no frill old style friendly place for a great haircut.

Joe is a nice guy, but $20+ was too much for a less than good cut. I think I was in the chair for 10 minutes or less and no one else in the lobby, so time was not an issue. I had been out of town and my normal barber was booked, so I tried to make this work in a pinch. I can be pretty picky on my haircuts, but my review here is probably being a bit gracious. If you want a super quick cut and don't mind or care about some gaps and uneven spots, this might be a good spot for you. Otherwise, it is what it is.

I had been going to razor Ray since I moved here 7 years ago and since his passing I haven't been able to find a proper barber with the same atmosphere as him. Until now. I am now dedicated to Joe, being a first time customer. No appointments! He is very welcoming and willing to chat while he cuts. For my first experience here, I only spent a total of about 15 minutes for a haircut. And may I mention he was fresh out of shoulder surgery. Very quick, very talented, very impressive. Great price as well. I can't complain whatsoever. Thanks again Joe! You have gained a new regular! 👍

I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes, came in 2 weeks overdue for a haircut( definitely getting pretty shaggy, especially since I have thick hair) and came out with a military approved haircut for almost half price of any big chain. Definitely recommend if you're looking to avoid paying for all the fancy stuff for sure.
