I asked for a low fade and I got a really uneven cut. I was in a hurry and I didn’t see it when I was their or else I would’ve ask for her to fix it.

I just moved to Carmichael and after reading the reviews for Joannes, I decided to try her out. After having the same barber for 12 years in San Diego, I was having bad haircuts at other shops. Joanne didnt have any customers when I walked in so I was able to sit right down and get started. I have to say that she gave me the best cut I have had in years!! Years people. Shes very friendly and easy to talk to. On top of the phenomenal haircut she gave me its only $10! There are NO real barbers these days that only charge $10. Then i was also having to have them make the sides even..or not go down to the skin..or charging $30 for a fade and cut. Thank you Joanne...you are my new barber :)

I took my son to get a haircut and I asked the lady for a low fade and she started working when I saw it was not the low fade that I asked for. and I told her that is not a low fade and she got upset and yelled at me and said I don't care if it's low fade or not, why do you come here? I was very offended because I'm paying for the service, it's not free. The lady is very rude because she said she didn't care about the haircut I asked for. I really do not recommend it, stay away from this place. ruined my son's hair

I've been going to Joanne for all of my haircuts for the last year or so and I've never had a bad experience. This is in contrast to a nearby barber whose electric razor scratched my neck up. But Joanne's always given me a good haircut, and no scratches here, so give stars! Only issue is that since it's a single-person shop, it's kind of hit or miss whether or not there will be a line. Fortunately I'm a five minute walk away so I can always go home and come back.

I went to Johannesburg on a whim when looking for a barber to get it right, Well ,I showed some photos and she went to work, I was very impressed with her work,actually going to see her this week,she doesn’t know it but she’s going to be my new barber
