Golden Razor

Took my seven year old in to get his hair cut after two years of growing a mullet. This was our first time in, and we will definitely be coming back. Not only was the service great, but the business itself was so clean and gorgeous inside. Saad and his assistant were so professional and courteous, they made my son feel comfortable the whole time. He got his first "grown up" hair cut in less than thirty minutes and he was so stoked with how it turned out! Truly a hidden gem of a spot.

The service was bad and result is terrible. I came in with good length of hair (first picture attached), showed the barber a clear reference of the style I wanted (second pic), but instead of following it, he just chopped off the length without any shape or consideration for how it would look. The end result was awful (third photo). In only 20 minutes he destroyed months of growing my hair because he completely ignored the shape and the finer details that make a haircut. When I asked him to fix it he responded tensely and showed no real intention of making it right. The service felt careless, at times even rude, with no attention to the client and no desire to achieve a good result.

I have not been to a barber or any professional hair cutting service in many years. This was due to the fact that every time I tried it turned out bad. I came to feel like no one understood my hair. I've been cutting it myself for almost 30 years because of this. Saad just changed that for me. On a whim, I just googled the nearest barber shop and found the Golden Razor. Luck would have it I pulled up and he was available, if I had to wait I would have left. I had a mop on my head and just took off my hat and asked if he could help. Saad gave me the best hair cut I've had in my entire life. Don't ever leave as you have a client for life, plus next time my son is getting his cut as well.
