J&J Nails Spa

LOVE this place! Somehow after asking many people in York with fabulous nails where they went I did not heed their advice about going to J&J. I’ve had some fabulous service and art done by Yuri. Everyone is so sweet too. I am already planning my next visit.

I’m usually very happy here. All the ladies do a great job. Love that they have Sunday hours and that they take Venmo. This time (like every October) I like to get matte black nails. Two days later, I noticed some of my nails are bubbling up and cracking. It’s like the matte top coat is separating from the color. Unfortunately due to my work schedule, I can’t go get them fixed til next weekend.

Tina, Yuri & Luck are all 10/10. Love them all- I have been coming to Tina since before she opened J&J- and have sent probably 60 plus people here whom are all loyal customers now for good reason! Everyone is so sweet, amazing at what they do, have never made a mistake with my nails, get me in last minute, always, because my schedule is so hectic. They take their time, & I always leave happy. The salon is so cute & always clean, they have more colors then you can count, & if your looking for crazy intricate nail designs, Yuri is insanely talented at doing them. Best nail salon in Central Pennsylvania, & I would never go anywhere else!

While I was hoping for a good experience, the inconsistent pricing here is a major red flag. It’s hard to trust a business that doesn't have a set standard for their services. Additionally, they tend to over-promise on how quickly they can see you. Being told they’re 'almost ready' repeatedly when there is still a long wait is disrespectful of a client's schedule.

I would give 10 stars if I could!! Every time I come here, I leave very happy. The first time I came here was because I needed a nail repaired (I did not want to return to the place I got them done) and they got me in pretty last minute and made my nail look much better than the other place had! I came back for my next set (I usually just get a coffin french) and decided this place will be my new salon! I have gotten someone different every time (I feel bad as I am not sure of anyone’s name) but have never been left disappointed! Everyone is very friendly and gentle. I am going to the beach soon, so this time around I got a pedicure for the first time and it was great! So relaxing and left feeling very rejuvenated. Love this place and recommend everyone come here 😃
