They only in person to cut (atleast today ) but she is fast & sharp. She understands perfectly what you want and the trimmer just goes in perfect motion. They do not do appointments which is nice for last minute cut. Also in comparison to other saloon it’s cheaper but the quality is high.

They only do First come first serve but I never waited more the 30 minutes. Very convenient and always happy with the haircut.

For several years now I've gone here for a trim. The place usually has only a couple of employees so during the pandemic that was a big plus because of the small crowds. It is walk in only, so sometimes it is take a ticket, and come back an hour later. Just don't try to come in the last couple hours it is open, it usually is booked til closing at the end of the day. It is a no-nonsense mom and pop establishment and that was exactly why I like it.

Grace does good work. I don’t know that I tell her much apart from, “Please make it shorter,” and I can trust her to do a good job. Out of the number of times I’ve gone in, I think I’ve only had to wait once, including weekend visits. Her work is quick, professional, and done well. I started coming here when Tom’s (up the street, on Cornell) closed because they tore the stores down. JG opened a short time later, if I recall.

Very professional and what a great haircut! I was in Portland visiting family and needed a quick cut. Very busy studio with only one artist available. People were coming in one after another wanting her services because they had been there before. I tried to get a cut on my last visit to Portland but it was a holiday weekend so wasn’t able to. I will stop by next time I’m in town, she is that good!
