JCPenney Salon

Wow so happy the JCPenney salon is still open in Rocky Mount. Such amazing old school down home customer service by Shaista my daughters hair stylist. She went over and above to make what we thought would be impossible on my daughters hair. She knows what she's doing! I love an hour away but after today she's going to be my new stylist too. The price is reasonable more so that other salons. They do all hair types of all people's well. GO THERE! I hope this place stays open always!

Over a year ago, after traveling for work for 14 months-my year was so damaged and frail that I found myself avoiding mirrors and photos often. I went into JC Pennys Salon Rocky Mount, NC one Saturday, met Shaista and asked her to fix my hair. Then slowly over the next year-she took my hair that refused to grow for years and always looked patchy (color) and uneven; and turned it into gorgeous hair I absolutely love. Four months later, I moved about 2.5 hours away and continued to drive 5 hours round trip so Shaista can color and color my hair. She made my hair look EXACTLY as I have always wanted (for over a decade), it’s is finally several inches below my shoulders, very healthy and the confidence boost she gave me…that’s the best part!!!!! Shaista is a great stylist! She takes the time to understand your hair’s unique needs and provides thoughtful recommendations to improve its overall health. Shaista also listens to understand your concerns. I appreciate the attention to detail and effort she puts forth to meet the needs of her clients.
