JCPenney Salon

Normally I don't like to give bad opinions but this time I have to do it. It was my FIRST permanent hair. I guess any stylist knows how important it is to give the customer a good result. I arrived on time but the girl who attended me took a long time because she couldn't find the rolls for the permanent. He spent it complaining while applying them to me that the garter was loose. You don't have to be a professional to realize when someone was getting very loosely applying the roll and that many of them was not even squeezing them at the root. He told me that since I had a lot of hair I would have to put on double product so it would cost more. This wouldn't have mattered to me but I noticed that I wasted a lot of product: almost everything was on my neck, splashed my shoulders and everyth

We randomly decided to get my daughter’s hair cut here because they were having a sale on kids haircuts. She asked for something simple. About 3” trimmed off and some long, face framing layers. The lady checking us in told me that the woman that would be cutting my daughter’s hair, Jasmine, was one of their “master stylists”. This woman cut way more off my daughter’s hair than she asked for. She didn’t wet the hair evenly or section it properly. It looks absolutely terrible. I’m not sure why it’s so hard to cut a straight line, but apparently it is. My daughter’s hair is choppy and uneven. It looks terrible. Not even worth the sales price I paid. I’m so upset. I honestly could’ve done a better job myself.

I saw Brianna on a spur of the moment cut and color. She did an AMAZING JOB! I asked for a prominent money piece and I got exactly what I was looking for! I’ve only had it done correctly once and that was a friend of mine who lives out of state and I’ve asked for it 2x since then. Both times I got a couple strands of blonde down my face and foils throughout. I use to go to JCPenney salon and had another stylist and she was one of the stylists that gave me a couple blonde strands and called it a money piece. I even questioned her on it that day and I didn’t feel like fighting it so I let it go and went to a different stylist, different salon next time. That stylist did the same thing but made a comment “you don’t want to look like a zebra” actually in fact I DO but I just let it be and jus

If I could leave less than one star, I would. My daughter explained to the hairdresser she only wanted two inches cut from her shoulder length hair. She walked out in tears with a hideous Bob above her chin length. If you don’t know how to cut curly hair, let your customer know. We’ll never go to this salon again.
