My stylist was LaCrecia and she gave me the best experience I’ve had in LA so far. She was very nice and very helpful for my natural hair journey. My hair feels healthy and soft after the treatment. The pricing was reasonable and I am very satisfied with the results!

I’m not from L.A.—I’m from the South—and I loved the service I used to receive at the JCPenney Salon in Pine Bluff, AR. So naturally, I assumed I’d get the same level of professionalism and care here in Culver City. What a mistake. That assumption couldn’t have been more wrong. I called to schedule my very first appointment and asked for a consultation beforehand—something any stylist serious about hair health should welcome. Instead, I was treated like a burden. The first person I spoke to sounded irritated from the start. Then, mid-conversation while I was explaining my hair goals, she just handed the phone off—no heads-up, no proper handoff—just suddenly, “Hi, this is someone else—she had to get back to her client. This the manager... what do you need?” That was it. Cold. Dismissive. U

I went for the $10 blowout & haircut promotion! Marlita (the manager) helped me at 7pm on Friday an hour before the salon closed. She was very knowledgeable about what products to use and even showed me how to style my hair the way I’ve been wanting to but couldn’t get it to stay! Personally though do not love the smell of the leave in conditioner. I think it was worth it because of the price but not sure how much it would cost normally !

It was an ominous start. My appointment was at 2pm, but things didn’t get going until about 2:30. I sat on the chair and she put the cape on me and then the hair stylist walks away for 5 min without saying anything. She came back smelling of smoke and threw, yes threw her lighter on the counter. I started describing what I wanted and she just rolled her eyes and let out a deep sigh… -multiple times while she was cutting my hair- it seemed as if anything I said annoyed her. How is that professional??? She came back after 5 minutes and was constantly walking away to turn on or change music, charge her phone, talk to the receptionist, etc. I didn’t appreciate being jerked around in the chair and she was very rough when moving my head. After the fact, I realized that what she had picked up

I hate writing a negative comment but I went there for a relaxer and my hair has been breaking off since. I don't believe they use a neutralizer shampoo or conditioner. My hair always turn green and the stylist comments on it. I been doing my own relaxer for years because of dry hair. I dont know what shampoos and conditioners they use but it's not for my hair. Since I do my own hair I buy the best shampoos and conditioners possible and never had a problem in the years I been doing my own hair. I was going here for years with brittle hair. And she itemized everything done as if she was not going to wash the relaxer out of my hair. It cost 135.00 plus I gave her a 15.00 tip150.00 for a relaxer, and my hair is breaking. I am washing it every other day with a neutralizer shampoo to stop the
