I walked into this salon with long, full hair and asked for nothing more than a simple trim with curtain bangs. The owner assured me I’d be in good hands and passed me to a stylist she recommended - Felipe. My hair was butchered — the cut was extremely choppy, backwards into my hair, and destroyed both my length and fullness. It has now been six months, and even with growth, my hair is still a mess. I returned to the salon a week after the cut to address this, and while the owner apologized, all she offered was a wash and blowout — no plan to fix the damage, no refund, no accountability. To make matters worse, when I expressed my fear before the cut and disappointment after, I was brushed off with comments alluding to “you’re pretty, so the haircut doesn’t matter.” This experience has left

This is my 3rd time coming here as I had okay to good experiences previously however this time I was upset and highly disappointed by Jannie’s lack of professionalism by the end of the experience. I had made an appointment for a haircut (trim and face frame layers, nothing too different) and said so when I stepped in that I had an appointment for haircut at 5pm on 2/6/26. I had to wait about 15-20 minutes as they had other clients but I was okay with that. I got my haircut. The hair cut was acceptable however Jannie did leave me to help another client for 8-10 minutes before coming back to blowdry my hair. She blow dried my hair which I thought was part of the process as I have been to salons where they cut it wet then blowdry the hair to make sure the cut is fine or to cut more of it. T

Felipe worked magic with both the cut and color and my hair has never looked this good. Felipe truly exceeded my expectations and brought my vision to life. I couldn’t be happier!

Janieeeee is the queen. I just loved the way she cut my hair. She is very professional and a very sweet women. It was my first time doing hair in NYC and yes, as always I was a bit nervous at first but Janiee won my trust. I believe as a professional stylish she has a great credibility. She didn't forced me or even to try sell her ideas infact she understood my needs and with all her amazing skill cut my hair in a very unique way. And the place is so we'll designed. I’ve visited Jannie’s twice in the past year—first for a haircut and more recently for a balayage—and both experiences were fantastic. Jannie took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered thoughtful feedback on what would suit me best. Both times, she was spot on! I absolutely love my hair and appreciated how she explained the aftercare steps to help me keep it healthy. The team takes their time and never rushes, which made the experience even better. Overall, I’m incredibly happy with the results!
